The ultra-efficient, silent, rare-earth-free permanent-magnet integrated unit (hereinafter referred to as the “integrated unit”) is an all-in-one integrated drive device developed by Shanghai CDQC Electric Co., Ltd., combining a motor, a variable-frequency drive, and a PLC into a single compact unit.
The GB30253 standard for permanent-magnet synchronous motors sets a Level 1 energy-efficiency benchmark for such motors, which exceeds the energy-efficiency requirements of Europe’s IE5 standard. CDQC’s integrated machines have already obtained the Level 1 energy-efficiency certification for permanent-magnet motors issued by China’s authoritative authorities.
High-efficiency motors also offer the advantage of reduced heat generation. By integrating the inverter and motor ventilation systems into a single design, the number of components is minimized while thermal dissipation is improved, significantly lowering motor noise. Compared with typical IE3 and IE4 motors powered by line frequency, no-load noise is reduced by 6–9 dB—equivalent to the combined noise of four to eight integrated units operating simultaneously being comparable to that of a standard IE3 induction motor.
